Joshua Stern Design conceives designs that are as sculptural as they are functional. Often tabletop accessories and accent furniture are limited in either aesthetic or functionality. Not so with these designs. Each piece is equally at home standing alone or serving a purpose. As art pieces, the designs offer clean lines that mingle well in eclectic, modern and even classical settings. As multi-functional accessories, they can platform serving bowls, offer bi-level nuance to food presentation and provide welcome haven for flower, candle or drink. As nuanced furnishing elements, they bring versatile function and understated elegance to a range of spaces. With apt names like "Open Arms Tray," "Reaching Vase" and "Bow End Table," the designs reveal a true interplay of inspired form and multi-faceted utility.

Joshua Stern is the originator and designer. A graduate of Brown University, he is a self-directed artist whose work is inspired by a range of creative and life experiences. He developed his core collection in Dallas and New York and now oversees fabrication of new and classic designs in Dallas and Los Angeles. He has a keen appreciation for various design genres and is always enchanted by their ability to intermingle. He believes that truly thoughtful and timeless designs can remind us of our innate potential for elegance, grace and purposefulness in any environment, whether we are standing alone or serving others.
